"Wave of Hope" - Sponsors
Official Sponsor Letter
Dear Friend,
Cancer is still a leading cause of death in children under the age of fifteen, second only to accidents. On Saturday, November 13, 2010 the Sanibel~Captiva Optimist Club will be hosting the "Wave of Hope" Sanibel Beach Walk for Kids Cancer Care.
All proceeds from this event will help benefit F.I.S.H of Sanibel as well as Barbara's Friends of the Children's Hospital Cancer Fund at Lee Memorial Hospital (100% volunteers). Their goal is to keep families together and provide local treatment so that these families are able to keep some normalcy in their lives and allow parents to stay physically and emotionally close to their sick child. Thanks to generous donations made to Barbara's Friends, more than 3,000 young patients have received life saving care.
In these troubled waters we need your help more than ever. We are seeking corporate and/or individual sponsors. All sponsors, name and/or logo, will appear on our event t-shirts and will be recognized in the local newspapers.
The opportunities for sponsorship on t-shirts are as follows:
• Back of t-shirt - $100• Diamond level (back of t-shirt at top, larger size), limit 2 - $250
• Front of t-shirt, limit 1 - $500
• Event sponsor, limit 1 - $1,000 (This includes a large banner with your name or company name and logo that will be displayed throughout the course and in all further press releases and ads)
Please make your donation to the San Cap Optimist Club and mail to P. O. Box 1370, Sanibel, FL 33957. Please e-mail your logo, if desired, to sancapoptimist@comcast.net.
For more information, please contact Event Chair, Amy Wainwright, at 239-579-0095 or email sancapoptimist@comcast.net.
Most appreciatively,
Sanibel~Captiva Optimist
